Here Comes the Sun

The main reason we went to Asheville was to have our engagement and boudoir photos taken. But these were the engagement photos that almost weren’t. It was nothing but sunshine the whole week we were in Asheville. Except for when we were scheduled to have our engagement photos taken. Right as we got on the road to Regina’s studio, the heavens opened up and the rains poured forth. We hung out in her studio for a while, hoping it would let up. It did, until we walked outside. More rain, and Dustin and I both soaked through the first of our outfits. All was not lost, though. After a little while at the Champagne Bar (thanks, guys, for letting us shoot in your awesome shop!), the clouds receded, we walked around downtown A-Ville for a while, and before we knew it, a double rainbow appeared. How cool, huh?

So why am I talking so much, huh? Let’s see some of those beauties! All images copyright of Regina Holder. Wanna see even more? Click through to our slideshow, but be prepared for a little Ray Charles.

Love the photos! Also, thanks for posting your comment on my wedding website. Email me if you have any questions with your wedding planning. Mine was a 14 month engagement and I learned so much going through the planning. I’d love to share anything I can. Good luck with everything!
